We are pleased to announce that as of August 9^th 2004, we are outsourcing our News Service (NNTP) to Giganews (http://www.giganews.com).

 This is a long over-due upgrade some of you have been waiting for. We believe that this is the best method of offering quality news service access to our customers.

For our DSL Customers, this change will be transparent for them. The news server name they should be using is  news.snappydsl.net

Please note that access to the  NNTP News Feed is only allowed when connected to the internet from an active SnappyDSL.NET network connection.

If you have a Dialup Subscriber and need access to the news server, please call in and speak to the Customer Service folks to have a news service account setup for you, these are only setup upon request.
